Who said Swedish clogs have to be classic?
We want color, positivity and boldness.
The POWER women’s clogs range was born from our desire to innovate within the classic Swedish clog universe of YLIN you love.
We worked with our Swedish workshop on this new clog collection. We envisioned it as a bright spark perfectly illustrating our artisanal potential and our creativity in design. A fresh light and a brand-new approach within the Nordic and Scandinavian clog universe.
We kept the simple, efficient cut of the emblematic clog and added a touch of extravagance. We imagined these clogs like bouquets of flowers—tulips, roses, peonies—where colors paint from a painter’s palette.
What could be more beautiful than a freshly picked flower arranged as a bouquet: its freshness, its scent, its hues, and its iridescence?
For this collection, we played with colors, textures and optical effects offered by our mostly Italian leathers.
Our workshop and designers explored chromatic ranges, textures and orchestrated the assembly of leathers (vegetable-tanned, PU, nubuck suede), edges and stitching to give birth to the first three Power models.
We emphasized optical effects and the way light shapes perceived colors during the natural movement of walking.
For the PIVOINE women’s clog, we imagined an alloy of three colors found unfailingly in summer bouquets: Pink, Orange and a touch of Red.
The PIVOINE clog is very colorful and sparkling, as it launches the 2022 collection. Its main leather is iridescent pink with shades of fuchsia and pale pink. It features our metallic pink leather, a vegetable-tanned orange strap and a red finishing edge.
The TULIPE women’s clog was designed to reproduce the iridescent effect of certain spring tulip petals.
The TULIPE aims to be soft, luminous and poetic. The main tin-metallic leather gathers all shades of gray in an iridescent way, as well as very light violet and pink. It has a top strap in powder-pink nubuck leather, as soft as velvet, giving a cocooning feel that pairs beautifully with the tin hue.
The ALOE women’s clog in the new POWER range is just as unique, completing the other two with its evocation of foliage tones.
For this third ALOE model introduced for the 2022 season, we grouped the different greens found in stems and leaves. The main leather is metallic green, spanning chromatic effects from aqua to fir green. The strap is clear yet subdued in fir-green leather, contrasting with the metallic green.
The Swedish clog does not have to be classic; with the POWER range it becomes contemporary.
