If you are between two sizes, always choose the larger size (except for very thin feet), especially if you have a strong foot! The lengths given are the maximum internal lengths of the wooden soles of our clogs and sandals (your foot should not be larger than these dimensions). The sizes correspond to French sizes.
The length of your foot should ONLY be measured flat, on a sheet of paper (for ease of use), with the heel and edge of the paper against a wall, mark the end of your foot with a pencil and then measure the distance between the edge of the paper and the line (starting from ZERO on your ruler). BEWARE, one foot is often stronger than the other! So measure both feet and keep the longer one.
