For all your products made of wool, cashmere, baby alpaca, alpaca, merino, mohair, new wool ...
We advise you to use mothballs when storing your winter items during the summer. It is important to clean your wools gently by hand with warm water, without rubbing (to avoid felting) and to dry them flat so that they can be stored clean.
This tip will help you keep your treasured items for a long time.
Good to know: moths
The little moths lay eggs on your woollens and it is these little moths that eat your woollens by making holes.
They love human odours, especially those of your unwashed woollen clothes and accessories (that's why it's very important to wash your woollens before putting them away).
Felting: human action, when you add wool + hot water + soap + rubbing = felting the wool. (the fibres of your wool spread out and mix with the others, thus constituting a new "felt" surface, you lose all the elasticity of your stitch and the aspect of your woolen products...)
Felt : very nice material with good insulating properties, flammable and rain resistant.
